How to Attach Quick Hitch Hold Back Straps to the Shafts of your Driving Vehicle
We have been selling these little gems on the website for a while now and I realized that we don’t have a blog showing how they attach to the shafts! So, here we go!
Step One
You’ll push the loop end of the hold back through the footmans loop on the shafts of your cart.
(it’s windy and freezing outside so I did this inside my tack shed on an extra set of shafts I have!)
Step Two:
Then you’ll slide the snap end through the loop. Now the strap is secure to the shaft and can’t slide when the horse slows the vehicle.
Safety First
Make sure the snap is facing towards the horse with the snap opening facing down and towards the horse.
It’s as easy as that! You can adjust the length of the hold backs by using the buckle. It’s so nice to not have to wrap these around the shafts each and every time you hitch to your vehicle.
