How to Pay With a Credit Card

Paying on our website can be confusing, if you don’t have PayPal, since the ONLY options are PayPal or Venmo.

All of our payments are run through PayPal. Since, Chimacum Tack has a PayPal account, you don’t have to have one. You can choose to pay as our guest. Here’s how!

First, you need to make sure you have this little box checked before you can go to the next window- “I have read and agree to the website terms”. (As shown in the photo below)

Next, you will click on the Pay with PayPal button. When you do that this is the window that will come up:

To pay with a credit card and not use your PayPal account you will click on the button that is towards the bottom of this screen, “Pay with Debit or Credit Card”, as shown above in the red circle.

Then, the next window will open:

You will need to enter your email at this time. Then click the button, “Continue to Payment”.

The next window will look like the photo below. It will have your email and a phone number in most cases. This is where you will enter your credit card info:

There is a little toggle button that you MUST turn off at the bottom of this page. It will be turned on. If you don’t turn this off PayPal WILL CREATE YOU AN ACCOUNT! In most cases, people do not want this to happen. Be sure you turn that off!

The red arrow is pointing to the toggle button you want to slide into the OFF position.

When you toggle that to OFF the screen will look like this:

And now you can click the button, “Checkout as Guest”!!

I’m so sorry this is all so complicated. Our website did offer a credit card option that was much simpler, but when it’s loaded it will work for a day or so, then it disappears. So, we are stuck taking payments this way.
