How to use the Hungarian Strap

The Hungarian strap is used when driving pairs and using either the Deluxe Breast Collar or the Standard Curve Breast Collar. The intent of this strap is to add some stability to the breast collar while carrying the team pole.

**Note: I still recommend using a Comfy Collar when driving in pairs. When using that style of breast collar you wouldn’t use a Hungarian strap as the collar wraps around the equine’s neck and the wide collar cap provides the stability needed.

Below is how you will attach your Hungarian strap to your pairs harness.

First you’ll thread your the strap (the end that doesn’t have the buckle) through the two pair d’s on the front of the breast collar. This strap can only be used with a breast collar that has the pair ds!

Then thread the end without the buckle through the little nylon strap that is sewn to the front of the neck strap, shown below.

Then buckle the strap on the top of the neck! Now it should be able to add a bit of stability to the front of the breast collar when attached to the team pole.
