2001 – Stainless Steel Snap

This is a great snap to use on your hold back straps. Two sizes 3/4″ for the minis and small ponies, 1″ for larger sizes.  When using a snap for your hold back straps be sure to position it in such a way that it will not catch on anything that can cause it to open. It’s best to have the snap facing the horse so it can’t snag on any other part of your harness or vehicle.

Snaps on your hold back make hitching and unhitching faster and easier! And you can leave your hold back straps wrapped neatly on your shafts at just the right spot. This is especially nice if your hold back straps are long and need to be wrapped several times.

**This snap is too small for draft horse hold back straps. I suggest the quick release shackles for the big horses.
